This Carl CC-2000 Custom Pencil sharpener has a unique feature: it contains a point adjuster that is used to gain maximum benefits when sharpening different lead densities of pencils. The point adjuster allows the sharpener to sharpen a pencil from very sharp to blunt. Usually, this is used to sharpen harder pencils (eg. 3H, 4H) in the very sharp mode, and to sharpen less hard pencils (eg. 3B, or coloured pencils) to a more blunt mode, as a sharp point will break more often when the lead is soft.

Suitable for round and hexagonal pencils with a diameter of 4-8 mm. The pencil sharpener has a full metal housing, which is perfect for schools.
