Platinum Procyon Fountain Pen - Carmine Red

Platinum Pen launches a new fountain pen called Procyon. Fun fact: this pen is named after Procyon, the brightest star in the constellation Canis Minor ('Little Dog').

The unique thing about this fountain pen is that it uses Platinum's unique Slip & Seal mechanism. Until recently, this mechanism could only be found on the much more expensive Platinum fountain pens, and it ensures that the pen does not dry out when the cap is placed on the fountain pen and the fountain pen is not used for a long time. A standard fountain pen dries out over time, the Slip & Seal mechanism slows this process down by many months.

The body of the pen is made of aluminum and thus ensures a nice weight balance. The pentagon-shaped nib stimulates the pleasure of writing, the special coating that was used in the making of the pen gives the pen a beautiful vibrant color and makes the pen a collector's item.
